I've been meaning to write a review for the amazing team at Foxtail Catering. My company bought a second a building and was looking for a polished caterer for our grand opening. I randomly came across them on Yelp and our team reach out for the menu and it was exactly what we were looking for and the prices were within our budget. We were looking for a California farm to table with some vegan options and they understood the assignment. We also had a tasting scheduled and it was delicious so we knew we made the right choice. The Tri-tip was the best! Perfectly seasoned and the right amount of pink. They also had this yam noodle with sesame sauce and fresh herbs that was very memorable. Their lamb sliders were the best I ever had, and I don't like lamb. Although my company decided to only stick to wine and beers for the event, they still served us some of their cocktails and they were tasty! The hospitality we got during the tasting was a 10/10. So on the day of the event, their service was just as impeccable. A lot of vendors raved about the food and service. If I ever had another event, we will definitely hire Foxtail Catering in a heart beat!

Delicious food and drinks, gorgeous execution, and a dream to work with. What more could you ask for! So glad we worked with Foxtail for our wedding. They made all of our requests come to life and we were blown away by what they delivered day of. Thank you Morgan & Melanie for being so incredibly organized and thoughtful every step of the way. We used Foxtail to cater our wedding and we were blown away by their service. The team at Foxtail was so accommodating and helped work with our budget, but still executed such an amazing experience. My husband and I love good food, so we wanted the food at our wedding to be special. Foxtail created a the perfect menu for us. Our guests are still raving about the food and drinks! It did not look like "wedding food" - it was beautiful, delicious and unique. They also provided such great service on the wedding day- our servers, bartenders, and event staff were all so great. Highly recommend Foxtail, you won't be disappointed!

It simply doesn't get better than Foxtail. Their commitment to detail, their incredible staff, their empathic and proactive way of producing an event made our wedding party the best night of our lives. From the very start, our event planner, Melanie, deeply understood our vision and guided us along the planning process to make sure it was executed flawlessly. She was a joy to work with, was able to anticipate and handle every obstacle with grace, and thought of the smallest details that would make the night memorable, joyful, and magically comfortable for us and our guests. I'll never forgot what it was like to walk into our venue for the first time and see the event brought to life -- it truly took our breath away. Everything was considered --from the design and flow of the space to the smallest details on the bar and on the food stations. And now, a moment for the food. We had a very specific vision to have Korean and Japanese food and a mix of grazing tables, family style, and food stations. We wanted our guests to get up and walk around and to feel like the food was shared and casual. Foxtail absolutely nailed it and everything was incredibly delicious -- the short rib bao bun is legitimately one of the best Korean fusion dishes I've ever had. I think my favorite food compliment was when someone said, "this is the food I wish I was eating at every wedding." Foxtail also accommodated our guest's various food allergies and packed food for my husband and I to eat when we got home. There's this incredible high-caliber of professionalism and quality that Foxtail leads with -- but what we fell in love with was their heart. Even though our event was far from their biggest or fanciest, we felt so taken care of and heard. Hiring them was the best decision we made and now, we just have to find an excuse to throw another big party so we can work with them again :)

Foxtail catered my girlfriend's wedding A couple weeks ago at the Flood Mansion in San Francisco. I was so impressed with their appetizers and presentation of the food. Very unique, how they arranged their passed hors d'oeuvres . Very festive bar set up and cool staff.

Foxtail catered our wedding this January (2022). Because of the Omicron surge, many of the logistics of the wedding changed last minute. Foxtail showed up and did an extraordinary job. First of all the FOOD WAS AMAZING. All of our guests complimented us on the insanely delicious dinner. But, secondly, the people who work at Foxtail are all so nice to work with - responsive, thoughtful, efficient, kind.

I don't typically leave reviews but I couldn't not leave one for Foxtail. I came across Foxtail's site as I was looking for care kits that could be shipped nationwide to our entire company. They are so amazing to work with (Melinda, Melanie, & Patrick); answering all my questions, accommodating for team members with dietary restrictions, and were able to meet our very short timeline. The kits themselves far exceeded my expectations and are so thoughtfully designed and packed with such care. They made the entire process so smooth and stress-free that I knew I could trust everything to be delivered in time. I will definitely be using Foxtail again.

There isn't a better catering/Event producer in SF! This is not your basic spread of food, your guests will genuinely be impressed by whatever is served because they put actual thought and consideration to what they are serving. From the display to the taste, nothing is done without the most care and consideration and any event that Foxtail helps out with will stand out to those who attend. You won't be disappointed!

Where to even begin? Can I give 6 stars?? We just had a destination wedding on 10/29/16 & I am still hearing compliments about how beautiful and delicious the food was. I guarantee that with Foxtail, they'll exceed expectations and deliver the most delicious and beautifully arranged dinner course that will make you wonder how they do it outside of the confines of a normal kitchen! Our engagement with Foxtail was a very unique one (to say the least)--where I served as a three-in-one (MOH, Wedding Planner, & Day-of Coordinator) for a 3 month-long wedding engagement. For two entire months, I had contacted over 20 caterers from yelp, and with each one, I was seriously underwhelmed with either the menu, or the time of response it took for some of the account managers took to respond (some took 3 days to respond between each email correspondence!!). BUT, with Foxtail, it was completely different. From start to finish, Christina made sure that I was taken care of, answered my 23948732 questions so promptly (I'm a project manager, so I know how to ask tons of questions) and delivered a menu that I knew for sure would WOW our guests. At first glance of the menu, I knew this caterer would be the one. Since our venue was a private villa, everything had to be brought to the venue (including ovens, dinner rentals, tables, chairs, heat lamps, etc). In order to keep myself sane day-of and limit the # of unique vendors, I trusted Christina to source the exact type of rentals that I needed and she was seriously SO helpful throughout the whole process. We couldn't do the complementary menu tasting because I had booked a flight out on the only day that they had a spot available, but I had full trust in Christina and the Foxtail team to deliver, so I had no issue with it. Throughout the wedding, the food was so delicious, and the servers/waiters never left a glass half-empty! It was a beautiful night and I seriously couldn't have done it without Foxtail. I heard compliments saying that it was the most delicious salmon they had ever had (and mind you, these are folks who have been to plenty of nice restaurants, flying from overseas!), and I was so ecstatic to hear that everyone LOVED the appetizers and the dinner menu. They helped clean up more than they were scoped to do and left the place SO clean & even helped to trash our florals (which we had A LOT of). I am just so grateful for the team & for making my life so easy! They are a bit on the pricier side, but for a once-in-a-lifetime event like this--it is SO worth it. I usually never write reviews, but this was one I knew I had to write :). Thank you again Foxtail! I am so grateful for your team!

We began our relationship with Foxtail when they were just the Phoenix Supperclub. Since then they've done quite a range of events at the venue where I work, a couple happy hour pop ups, to corporate day meetings, cocktail receptions to formal sit downs. Each time they are a pleasure to work beside from the guys on the floor to Tommy, the head chef, and Rhonda, the event coordinator. They've got a great selection of standard apps and actions stations, but each time I come to them with a strange request like Zombie themed apps or a tight budget, they make it work! And honestly, one of the best things about Foxtail is once things are set, I can completely take them off my radar. They arrive, setup, take are of their business, clean up with no added stress or unnecessary questions or requests.
